SOLUTION: In a flexible tube 1, a layer of a coupling agent 5 is arranged on the outer circumferential surface of a flexible tube material 4, for example, comprising a spiral tube 2 formed by spirally winding a metal strip and a mesh- like tube 3 covering the outer circumference thereof and a skin 6 made of a thermoplastic elastomer is closely spread over the layer. Moreover, a coat layer 7 comprising a thermosetting type or a moisture hardening type resin is formed on the external surface of the skin. The coupling agent 5 herein usable is silane based, titanate based, aluminum based, zirconium based material or the like. Thus, the layer of the coupling agent 5 which functions to adhere both to inorganic and organic matters is arranged on the interface between the flexible tube material 4 and the skin 6 thereby enabling firm adhesion between the flexible tube material 4 and the skin 6.
