description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the adhesion and durability by connecting at least a part of an electrode having an active material to an assembly formed by at least partially connecting a charge separator electrochemically inert to the electrode to a substrate in such a manner as to be releasable, and adhering at least a part of the charge separator to the electrode, and removing at least a part of the substrate. SOLUTION: A charge separator consisting of a copolymerizable compound electrochemically inert to the component of a battery and preferably punched into a desired form is connected to a removable substrate such as miler or polypropylene to cover an electrode so that the electrode makes contact with the charge separator side. At this time, although one or more of the electrode, the charge separator and the substrate is heated to adhesively partially melt and adhere the electrode and the charge separator, the both may be pressurized. The substrate is peeled from the charge separator without causing a distortion in each interface, and the active part of the electrode can thus receive the applied electrolyte without obstruction or contamination.
