Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input system constituted of a compact keyboard. SOLUTION: This is a compact keyboard system for Japanese in which the vagueness of the word level of the sequence of key strokes inputted from a keyboard 54 is used, and a user is allowed to select the desired interpretation of the vague input key sequence as kana, and to select a desired text related with the selected kana interpretation. In this compact keyboard system, each syllable is specified by using the sequence of two key strokes. The syllable is palate sounded, and that expressed by using two kana is included. The input sequence of the key strokes is interpreted as a pair of instructed key strokes, and one character is selected according to the position in a second-dimensional matrix. |
