Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge whether an occupant at a front passenger seat is an adult or a child. SOLUTION: Twelve upper sheet contacts 11a are printed on the lower face of an upper sheet 11, each of the contacts being connected to a power supply Vcc. Lower sheet contacts 13a are printed corresponding the upper sheet contacts on the upper face of a lower sheet 13, the contacts being connected every four ones in common to lower sheet wirings 13b via resistances 13c. The upper and lower sheet wirings are connected to a multiplexer 51 and connected to a ground via a pull-down resistance 52. Voltage across the pull-down resistance is read in a judgement part 50 by an A/D converter 504 to determine the number of contacts (11a, 13a) in contact with every channels. If the number of contacts in contact therewith is larger than a present threshold value, an occupant is judged to be an adult, and if smaller, the occupant is judged to be a child. |
