POSITIVE CHARACTERISTIC THERMISTOR DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive temperature characteristic thermistor device provided with a positioning member for substituting a kink provided on the lead wire of a conventional positive temperature characteristic thermistor device, capable of dissipating heat stored in a PTC element body, in a time shorter than conventionally. SOLUTION: A lead wire 3 is connected to electrodes 2 formed on both surfaces of a disk-like PTC element body 1, and the entire PCT element body is coated with synthetic resin 4. The lead wire 3 is composed by bending one lead wire into two, one lead wire 3-1 is passed through the through-hole 5 of a circuit board 6 and connected to a circuit pattern on a back side by solder 7, and the other lead wire 3 is used as the member for positioning for controlling a height from the circuit board 6.
