Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a working time for unclamping/claming, to facilitate unclamping/claming work, to prevent dispersion of clamping strength of a tailstock body, and to miniaturize the tail stock and a lathe. SOLUTION: In a tailstock, a clamp mechanism clamps a tailstock body 3 to a guide part 2 in a bed 1. In this case, a clamp member 13 long in the lateral direction is pivoted to the tailstock body 3 oscillationally around the horizontal axial line, which extends in the longitudinal direction, through the longitudinal intermediate part of the clamp member 13. Below the guide part 2 in the bed 1, a laterally long back plate is arranged to which the guide part 2 can be clamped with the tailstock body 3. On both of left and right sides of the oscillation center of the clamp member 13, two left and right clamp bolts 15 are passed through the back plate and the clamp member 13 from the lower side. To the tips of the both bolts 15, clamp nuts 16 are screwed respectively. At the tip of the right side clamp bolt 15, a lock nut 17 is screwed and fitted from the upper side of the clamp nut 16. |
