description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely position an FRP plate spring while its spring action, particularly stabilizer action in a vehicle suspension device, and to simplify assembling and repairing work thereof. SOLUTION: In this device, an FRP plate spring 1 is located in the vicinity of an axis connecting vehicle wheels to each other, in parallel thereto for supporting the load of both wheels. To both ends of the FRP plate spring 1 boots 2 are fitted which are built in a groove portion 7-2 which is provided on a lower surface of a lower arm 7 and whose lower side and lower arm 7 rotation center side are opened without a substantial clearance on the front and back sides and right and left outer sides of vehicle. The opened lower part of the groove portion 7-2 is closed by tightening a plate 7-5 together securely. The FRP plate spring 1 is held through the boots 2 between the right and left lower arms 7, 7. The load from the wheels supported by the lower arms 7, 7 is transmitted to the FRP plate spring via the plate 7-5 and the boots 2. |
