ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT CONTROLLER FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bag in a vehicle and an electronic equipment or the like arranged in the vehicle from being stolen by injecting data from the external to a multiplex communication line to unlock door lock. SOLUTION: An electric control unit(ECU)-1 is arranged on the driver's side of a vehicle and includes a door lock motor 6 for controlling the lock/ unlock of a door and so on. An ECU-2 is arranged in a trailer side vehicle body and includes a gate lock motor 12 for controlling the lock/unlock of a rear gate and so on. These ECUs-1, 2 are mutually connected through a communication line 5 and exchange mutual information by muptiplex communication. When a gate lock switch 10 e.g. for the ECU-1 is turned on, the information is transmitted to the ECU-2 through the line 5 and the ECU-2 moves a gate lock motor 12 to a locking direction. When where in a wire harness of the vehicle passes the line 5 has been already known, the place can easily be searched from an engine room or the like.
