description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible conductor, in which displacement of the layered copper foils can be prevented by simple formation, concerning a flexible conductor which is used in the case that various kinds of electric appliances or the like are conductively connected, or the like, especially a flexible conductor which is composed of layered copper foils, and which has an efficient current- carrying performance by suppressing the temperature rise of the conductor without enlarging a total crosssection area of the conductor and without installing a water cooling means or the like. SOLUTION: The subject conductor has such a characteristic that the circumferential surface of the conductor 1, which is composed by layering a number of flexible thin copper foils, is coated and closely fixed with an insulator 2. As the copper foils, electrolytic copper foils are preferable, and as the insulator 2, for example, a self-fusion type pressure sensitive adhesive tape 2 or the like is used. As the pressure sensitive adhesive tape 2, for example, a tape, which is so composed that an adhesive layer of a butyl rubber or the like is formed on one side of a base martial such as a polyethylene film or the like, can be used. Also, the color of the insulator 2 such as the pressure sensitive adhesive tape 2 or the like is preferably black.
