WEATHER STRIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a flaw of a presser reinforcement or the like from being caused on the surface of a weak interior trimming lip when products are heaped up at delivery time by attaching the flexible part composed of a synthetic rubber sponge to the opening end of the car inside wall part of a cross-sectional almost U-shaped welt. SOLUTION: An interior trimming lip 3 is projected on the base end of the car inside wall part 2a of a cross-sectional almost U-shaped welt 2 of a weather strip 1 so that a decorative coating film 3a by sticking cloth or winding a color sponge or a color solid is applied to the surface. The flexible part 4 composed of a synthetic rubber sponge is attached to the opening end of the car inside wall parts 2a of a solid material. A malfunction such as causing a flaw of a presser reinforcement on the decorative coating film is eliminated since surface pressure does not increase even if the opening end of the car inside wall part of an upper stage weather strip strikes on the decorative coating film of the interior trimming lip of a lower stage weather strip when products are heaped up in large large numbers at delivery time.
