Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetization method for forming a plurality of magnetic poles, spaced at intervals of very small distance in a member to be magnetized having an endless peripheral surface, in which the magnetic poles can be magnetized at intervals of a uniform distance in a peripheral direction. SOLUTION: A magnetizing head 3 is positioned as making contact with or close to a peripheral surface of a member to be magnetized 2, is moved in an axial direction of the member to be magnetized, i.e., in a width direction of the endless peripheral surface, while passing a magnetizing current through an exciting coil 18 to magnetize the member to be magnetized. When the head reaches an end of a zone where one magnetic pole to be formed, the peripheral surface of the member is moved only by a predetermined amount in the peripheral direction and causes the head to be moved in the opposite direction. Such an operation is repeated to magnetize the member along its entire periphery, and a multiple times of the predetermined amount to be moved in the peripheral direction along the peripheral surface is set nearly, in matching with the full peripheral length of the member. The movement of the predetermined amount along the peripheral surface is carried out by a stepping motor which inputs a predetermined number of pulses so as to control the amount of rotational drive. |
