Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous annealing and pickling method for a cold rolled stainless steel strip with which good surface quality is obtainable at a low cost by rapidly neutralizing and removing an alkaline washing liquid on steel strip surfaces and an apparatus therefore. SOLUTION: The continuous annealing and picking device for the cold rolled stainless steel strip having an alkaline degreasing device 3 on the upstream side of an annealing furnace and pickling equipment 7 on the downstream side thereof is provided with a washing water storing and supplying device 17 for supplying washing water to a water washing device 14 existing on the outlet side of the alkaline degreasing tank 12 of the alkaline degreasing device 3 and a supply line 24 for supplying the waste water after use in a water washing device 22 existing on the outlet side of the pickling tank 21 of the pickling equipment 7 to the washing water storing and supplying device 17. The waste water of the rinsing water for washing after pickling is utilized as the washing water for water washing the stainless steel strip subjected to alkaline washing in a degreasing stage.
