description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction base on the sea and to sharply shrink the temporary work by providing water level gauges at a plurality of positions on a barge installed with a construction yard of a structure and a moving line, moving the structure to the tip section of the barge according to the progress of the construction of the structure on the moving line, and adjusting ballast in response to the numerical values of the water level gauges. SOLUTION: Water level gauges 8 are fitted to ballast tanks in a barge 2, water feed/discharge pipes fitted with automatic opening/closing valves are provided, and the mount load and inclination of the barge 2 are adjusted by ballast water adjustment. An ocean structure 4 is constructed on the moving line 6 of the barge 2 while being moved on the barge 2. The load of the structure 4 is increased as the process progresses, it is detected by the water level gauges 8, and the balanced posture is maintained by the injection of water into the ballast tanks. The structure 4 is moved and shifted to a floating dock 3 from the barge 2 after curing, and the floating dock 3 is towed on the sea surface 1 and conveyed to the prescribed position. A dock facility on the land is not required, the temporary work cost is reduced, and the construction period can be shortened. |
