BAG FEED APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of pinchingly making contact with and supporting a bag from both faces thereof so as not to introduce air thereinto even during advance of the bag and also capable of performing the take-up operation of lifting one bag only to be transferred in a posture of the bag, for which a pinchingly contacting tool is easily brought into contact with the lifted bag with respect to its pinchingly contacting operation. SOLUTION: This bag feed apparatus comprises three steps of operation in the following sections: that is, a sucking and lifting section 1 provided with an elevating arm and an elevating piece 12 having, at its lower end, a suction pad 16 for lifting the uppermost one of bags stacked and stored in a bag storing part; a lifting and maintaining section 2 provided with a support piece 21 which is inserted into a position of the underface of a lifted bag 4 from the exterior of the bag storing part to support the bag 4, and which can be inserted in and withdrawn from a set compartment area of the bag storing part; and a transfering and supplying section provided with a rotary arm 34 which is mounted, at its one end, with a pinchingly holding piece 35 consisting of an upper and a lower jaws capable of pinchingly holding both sides close to an open end of the bag 4 thus lifted with their opening and closing operation, and which is turned from a perpendicular direction up to a horizontal direction with a base end of the rotary arm as a core of rotation to transfer the bag 4 to a filling section.
