PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATION IN COMBINATION OF INHIBITOR OF SODIUM/HYDROGEN EXCHANGER AND MEDICINE FOR TREATING CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM DISEASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a combination pharmaceutical composition capable of improving the quality of treatment and synergistically enhancing the effect on cardiovascular system, and useful for treatment or the like of the disease caused by ischaemia by using an inhibitor of a sodium ion/hydrogen exchanger (NHE) having heart-protecting characteristics, and a medicine for treating cardiovascular system disease. SOLUTION: This combination pharmaceutical composition comprises (A) an NHE inhibitor and (B) a material having activities against cardiovascular system. The component A is preferably benzoylguanidine of the formula [R(1) and R(2) are each R(6)-S(O)n , R(7)R(8)N-O2 S or the like; R(6) is a 1-6C alkyl, phenyl or the like; R(7) and R(8) are each H, a 1-6C alkyl or the like; (n) is 0-2; R(3) and R(4) form a 2-4C alkylene by the connection with each other and R(4) and R(5) form a 4-7C alkylene by the connection with each other]. The component B is preferably a blocking agent or the like of a not inactivated sodium channel (sodium channel activatable with veratridine).
