description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain inspection of a breaker unit in an easy way without removing a subsequent feeding part for a long period, by extending a lead conductor from a breaker pole to an adapter housing, and fitting an insulated bushing extending to a cable terminal for high-voltage overhead lines to the adapter housing. SOLUTION: A breaker involves a cylindrical housing. Adapter housings 13, 14 are formed so that their central axes may extend in parallel to each other and in orthogonal to the central axis of a housing 10. Insulated bushings 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 positioned in an identical plane are connected to the adapter housings 13, 14 respectively, and the central insulated bushings 16, 19 of these insulated bushings are always aligned in a vertical direction. Breaker poles are disposed inside the housing 10, the number of which corresponds to the number of phases. The two breakers are used, one is for replacing or inspection, and the other is for final assembly.
