Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar spiral antenna with a driving reflector, without deterioration in gain in the a wide-band operating frequency. SOLUTION: In this spiral antenna, composed of a dielectric substrate 3 for which spiral conductor patterns 1 and 2 are arranged on a surface and a metallic reflector 4 arranged at the rear part of the dielectric substrate 3, a driving means for moving the position of the metallic reflector 4 so as to turn the interval of the dielectric substrate 3 and the metallic reflector 4 into λ/4 or the odd number multiple of λ/4 corresponding to the wavelength λof a using frequency is provided.
