Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a phase conjugate for electromagnetic radiation by incorporating a stimulated Brillouin scattering cell, containing liquid perfluorocarbon as the stimulated Brillouin scattering medium, and selecting perfluorocarbon from a group consisting of compound represented by a special formula and its mixtures. SOLUTION: A laser 10, having an SBS cell 12, contains a main oscillator 14, a polarizer 16, an amplifier 18 and a polarized wave rotating mechanism 24. An initial beam 20 is passed through the cell 12 to reduce its aderration. As a result, a phase conjugate beam is generated, and propagated via an amplifier 18. The SBS cell for phase conjugate, containing liquid perfluorocarbon as SBS medium is used. This prefluorocabon is selected from a group consisting of a compound represented by a formula CxFy (in the formula, x>1, Y>4). |
