description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the dielectric strength between an outside winding and an inside winding by arranging insulation spacers having triangular cross sections between the windings, so that the top and bottom faces of the spacers can respectively come into contact with the internal surface of the outside winding and the external surface of the inside winding. SOLUTION: Insulation spacers 8 having triangular cross sections are arranged so that tops and bottom faces 8A and 8B of the spacers 8 can respectively come into contact with the internal surface of a high-voltage winding 1 and the external surface of a low-voltage winding 2. In addition, the spaces between the bottom faces 8B of the spacers 8 and the external surface of the inside winding 2 are filled up with an insulation packing 9. Therefore, the dielectric strength between the windings 1 and 2 can be improved, because no wedge- like gas gap is formed at the contacting sections between the tops 8A of the spacers 8 and the internal surface of the outside winding 1.
