Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid pump which can prevent application of tensile force to a fastening bolt through thermal expansion of a pump body and a pump cover. SOLUTION: A discharge chamber (high pressure chamber) 11 to which discharge fluid is introduced is formed between a pump body 1 and a pump cover 2. A bolt through-hole 35 is formed on one of or both of the pump body 1 and the pump cover 2. The pump body 1 and the pump cover 2 are fastened and fixed to each other by a fastening bolt 34 inserted into the bolt through-hole 35. A slit 38 which is opened to an outer surface of the pump body 1 and/or the pump cover 2, and communicated with the bolt through-hole 35 is formed on one of or both of the pump body 1 and the pump cover 2.
