Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the printing speed and the operation efficiency of a color ink-jet printer according to the previous thermal printing results by combining a plurality of color ink-jet printers commanded and controlled by a personal computer. SOLUTION: A system includes a data transmission link 84 between a data processing unit 82 and a raster image processor 86. A data link 90 transmits a single color image data map to a printing engine controller 92 connected with a base printer 10. A control signal link 94 transmits each operation command to a printing mechanism for printing an image on each sheet suck that the single color image data map is reflected. A data link 100 transmits a main color image data map to a color controller 102 connected with a color accessory 20. A control signal link 104 transmits a signal from a color printer controller 102 to the color printer controlling mechanism.
