FUNCTION TELEPHONE SET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store a transmission destination number (caller number) of a phone call received during absence to a memory efficiently and to easily confirm the caller number without using a large sized display device. SOLUTION: This telephone set is provided with a display device 13 and a memory 12 storing a received caller number and when the caller number is received when an incoming call is received during absence, whether or not the caller number is already stored in the memory is discriminated and when the caller number is stored, the number of times of reception (number of times of incoming) is counted and number of times of reception is displayed on a display device together with the caller number. As a result, even when a plurality of number of times of incoming calls from the same caller are received during absence, the caller number is stored in the memory efficiently. Moreover, in the case of displaying the caller number, since duplicate display of a plurality of same caller numbers is not required, the display is made sufficiently by using a small sized display device of displaying one line or the like.
