description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop the rotation of a cup in which a dice is stored at a prescribed position in a dice game machine. SOLUTION: The cup 34 of this dice game machine is rotated using the driving force of a motor 24 to move a regular dodecahedron dice. After the rotation of the cup 34 stops, signals from recognition signal generators installed on all the surface of the dice are read by a signal detector installed on a stage 16, and a symbol on an effective surface of the dice is specified. The recognition signal generators and the signal detector are arranged in a prescribed pattern, and a location mechanism is constituted so that the cup is stopped at a position in accord with the pattern. When the cup is rotated, a solenoid 31 is supplied with electricity, and a stop lever 28 is moved to a receding position. When the rotation of the cup is stopped, electricity supply is cut. and when electricity supply to the solenoid 31 is cut, a stop roller 27 supported by the stop lever 28 is inserted into a dent 22a formed in the outer circumference of a rotation member 22 which rotates together with the cup, and the cup is stopped at a prescribed position.
