SOLUTION: The housing, in which a multimedia terminal (MMT) 10 is built, is composed of the main housing 12, a keyboard cover (KBC) 14 and a side hinge assembly(SHA) 16 for mutually connecting the KBC 14 with the main housing 12 and the KBC 14 is structured so as to take three opening/ closing states through a KBC hinge 20 and a side cover hinge 22. Further, a KBC sensor and an SHA sensor are provided for sensing the opening/closing operation of the KBC 14 and the SCA 16 and by sensing the opening/closing state of the KBC 14, any suitable function is automatically selected out of plural functions provided for the MMT 10. Thus, user interaction in the case of multiple operating mode can be simplified. |
