HARD DISK DRIVE CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain various connection and portage by making possible one- system/two-system switching of the connection of a hard disk drive by a hard disk control circuit and also performing repetitive drive-bus direction control over a hard disk control signal, and then eliminating a deviation in timing and the disorder of a waveform which are easily caused when more than one drive is mounted and making possible stable operation. SOLUTION: The hard disk control circuit 4 repeats a hard disk drive control signal between the hard disk controller 5 and hard disk drive 2 to make a one-system connection when one hard disk controller 5 is mounted and a two- system connection when two controllers are connected. Further, the hard disk drive can be switched and connected to more systems similarly. As a connection system switching means in the hard disk control circuit 4, there are a method using a hardware jumper and a software switching method by the settings of hard disk connection alteration registers.
