Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable wave absorbing wall which does not require any complicated process and is free from any variation in wave absorbing characteristics due to a displacement of magnetic substances (ferrite formed bodies) in the direction of gravity and any damage to a building even if some vibration due to an earthquake occurs or it is used outdoors for long time. SOLUTION: Magnetic substances 12 comprising ferrite formed bodies of which plan view is trapezoidal and has a uniform thickness are fixed to a wave absorbing wall 10, the upper and bottom sides of the magnetic substance in the direction of magnetic field component are specified as a long side and a short side, respectively, and arranged continuously in the direction of the magnetic field component and at intervals in the direction of field component. Also the ferrite formed bodies 12 are stuck to an external material 14, and formed integrally through concrete 18 with metallic reflecting materials 16 comprising building wall surfaces and reinforcements. In addition, the selfweight of the magnetic substances 12 is supported by a supporting surface formed on the concrete 18 with the field component directional side surface 12a of the trapezoidal ferrite formed bodies used as a frame surface.
