description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and an apparatus in which the amount of cement is measured without applying a burden to a metering part even when an object to be measured is soil cement. SOLUTION: A sample 9 which is sampled from unsolidified soil cement is put into a container 8 placed on a metering part, the weight of the sample 9 is measured, an acid is then added, and the weight of the acid is measured. Then, in a state that the mechanical lock of the metering part is performed by a lock device 6, the acid and the sample 9 are stirred in the container 8. After that, the mechanical lock is released, an acid-base titration by an alkaline solution is performed, and the amount of the cement is found on the basis of a titration amount measured by the metering part, on the basis of the amount of the acid and on the basis of the weight of the sample. While the acid and the sample are being stirred, a shock and a load are not applied to the metering part thanks to the mechanical lock of the metering part by the lock device during their stirring operation.
