description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact connector with almost no possibility of miswiring for simple and electrical connection between adjacent units and units to be connected together therewith. SOLUTION: When a handle 9 is turned 90 deg. in a condition as shown in a figure (a), a cam 8 moves up a contact holder 10 into a condition as shown in a figure (b). Then, guide pins 14 provided on the contact holder 10 are first inserted in preset holes opening in boards 17 on the unit 3, 4 sides to position contacts 11-13 onto the lands of the boards 17. The contacts 11-13 are moved upper into a condition as shown in the figure (b) and put in contact with the lands of the boards 17 for electrical connection between the units 3, 4. At this time, the guide pins 14 are inserted in the holes in the boards 17 and so a cassette type connector is locked.
