Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry an electric wheelchair loaded in a general station wagon by provided a handle part with a folding fulcrum and folding it with the handle part positioned on or above the chair, when the length of a contraction floor part of the step part is contracted in the car body direction. SOLUTION: A 3-wheel scooter type electric wheelchair is folded by folding a handle 46, a handle column 47, a step part 45, and a backrest 10. In this case, the car body rear part 43 and the car body front part 44 are connected to each other by a link mechanism 7, and the floor plate 6 of the step part, and the link and the link mechanism 7 parallel moving the car body front part 44 and the car body rear part 43 are fixed together by a fixing metal fitting. The floor plate 6 is lifted upward with the car body front part 44 rear end set to a fulcrum so as to release the fitting metal fitting of the link mechanism 7 and, when the floor plate 6 reaches such a position as not interfering the floor of the car body rear part 43, the car body front part 44 and the car body rear part 43 are approached to each other so as to shorten the car body.
