W/O-TYPE EMULSION COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition containing an aqueous phase keeping the emulsified state over a long period, giving refreshing feeling in application and durable make-up, having excellent emulsion stability, etc., and applicable in a form having broad viscosity and hardness ranges by combining two kinds of specific polyether-modified silicones. SOLUTION: The objective composition is produced by adding a compound of the formula II ((a) is 1-5; (b) and (c) are each 20-30; (n) is 8-20; (m) is 300-500; R and R' are each H or a 1-5C alkyl) and a compound of the formula III ((a') is 1-5; (b') is 1-6; (c') is 0-5; (n') is 1-5; (m') is 20-100; R" and R''' are each H or a 1-5C alkyl) to a compound of the formula I ((x) is 4-100), etc., stirring the mixture to obtain a dispersion, adding powder having water-repelling surface to the dispersion in an amount of 3.0-60.0wt.% based on the total composition, stirring the mixture, adding a mixture of 0.1-15.0wt.% of a lower alcohol and 0.1-70.0wt.% of water (based on the total composition) to the dispersion under stirring and treating the obtained mixture at an arbitrary temperature between 5 deg.C and 90 deg.C.
