Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent rainwater from entering the interior of a luggage compartment by providing a side opening horizontal groove for receiving rainwater entering from the counter-luggage compartment side on one of a lorry and the confronting surface on the opposite side in a fitting recessed part and a fitting projecting part formed on the confronting surfaces of two adjacent upper and lower hollow panels of the side wall main body of the luggage compartment. SOLUTION: A side wall (gate) 10 of a closed luggage compartment of a wing vehicle or the like includes a gate main body 10a formed by connecting plural extruded shape-made hollow panels 11 to each other by connecting bolts 12 and nuts vertically piercing through the panels, and end frame members respectively put on both front and rear end parts of the gate main body 10a. Between two adjacent upper and lower panels 11, a fitting recessed part 13 is provided on the lower surface of the upper panel 11, a fitting projecting part 14 fitted to the fitting recessed part 13 is provided on the upper surface of the lower panel 11, and further a side opening horizontal groove 15 is provided on the opposite surface to the luggage compartment of the fitting projecting part 14. Thus, rainwater which enters between both hollow panels 11 from the counter-luggage compartment side is received by the side opening horizontal groove 15, and discharged from the groove 15 to the outside through a vertical groove formed on the end frame member. |
