Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake manifold suitably preventing the air volume into each combustion chamber from being unevenly suctioned as well as setting a good effect in damping the suction noise of air. SOLUTION: Air intake pipes 30 connected to each combustion chamber are disposed in a cover 54 of a resonator 50. Within the cover 50, there is provided a volumetric chamber 57 connected to a surge tank 33 located at the upstream side of each air intake pipe 30 through a connection passage 53a formed in a resonance pipe 53. The distance between the said connection passage 53a and the opening and at the upstream side of each air intake pipe 30 is kept equal. Even through the pulsation pressure in the air intake pipes varies due to the resonator installed in the system of the air intake for the engine, the variation amount in each air intake pipe 30 is equal since the distance between the connection passage 53a and the opening end at the upstream side of each air intake pipe 30 is equal. Therefore, the air volume is prevented from being unevenly suctioned into each combustion chamber in accordance the change caused by the pulsation pressure. |
