description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fluctuation of the output of a laser attributable to the presence of air foam inside a reflector mirror and replace a lamp with ease and reduce an occupied floor area of a solid laser devices. SOLUTION: An upper reflector mirror 3a is fitted into a recess of an upper housing 10a where a krypton arc lamp 2 is set up in a focal position of the mirror having an elliptical cross section. A lower reflector mirror 3b is fitted in the recess of a lower housing 10b where a YAG rod 1 is set up in the focal point of the elliptical cross section surface. Furthermore, the upper housing 10a and the lower housing 10b face each other and mounted so that the upper reflector 3a may be opposed to the lower reflector 3b. Cooling water is supplied from cooling water passages 8a to 8h so as to cool the krypton arc lamp 2 and so forth. Grooves 6b, 6b' and 3a1 are provided on upper mirrors 6 and 6' and the upper reflector mirror 3a. The air foam remaining inside the reflector mirror is fled into the groove 3a1 by way of the grooves 6b and 6b'.
