PNEUMATIC TIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a pneumatic tire and to insure air pressure maintaining performance by employing such structure dispensing with an inner liner layer. SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire is of such structure as both end parts of a carcass layer 5 are folded round a bead core from inside to outside of the tire, while the inside of the carcass layer 5 is directly exposed to the space on the inside of the tire. In addition, as a coat rubber 4 of the carcass layer 5, a low air-permeable rubber composition is used, in which at last a kind of low air-permeable rubber out of epoxidized natural rubber, rubber halide of copolymer made of isobutylene and paramethyl stylene, butyl rubber, butyl rubber halide and nitride rubber is mixed in the ratio of 20 to 200 weight part to the total 100 weight part of the copolymer. Moreover, the thickness A as measured from the inner surface of the carcass cord 2 to the inner side of the tire and at the inner side region of the tire in the vicinity of the bead core should be 25mm
