Next, the abutting and bending main bodies 4, 5 are transferred in the separating direction with the transfer mechanisms 6, 7 and the abutting and bending main bodies 4, 5 are rotated to arrange the projecting blade edge 4a and the recessed blade edge 5b in the working position. Meanwhile, the metal plate W is sent by a prescribed length from the pinch roll of the carrying mechanism 2. The metal plate W is continuously bent by successively repeating the operation like this.
