description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely fix a structural member to a base material and show tensile force exceeding a limit by arranging an outer peripheral area extending toward an outer edge with a specified inclination angle in respect to a plane perpendicular to an axis of a through-hole for holding an engagement element. SOLUTION: An engagement part of an engagement element 11 is press-fitted into a base material 7 through a hole 19 of a structural member superposed on the base material 7 by an explosive applier. A fixation element 1 is mounted on the engagement element 11 together with a buffer element 17 and a pressing member 15. The pressing member 15 is turned connected along the engagement element 11. When the pressing member 15 is turned, tensile force is applied to the fixation element 1 which is then elastically deformed. An inclination angle W of an outer peripheral area 5 is decreased in respect to a plane perpendicular to an axis of a through-hole 2. The structural member 9 is fixed to the base material 7. When the tensile force exceeds a maximum allowable tensile force at a fixation point, the fixation element 1 is plastically deformed. When the tensile force is decreased, a gap between a surface 10 and an outer edge 6 can be visually confirmed, for enabling sensing of an overload state at the fixation point.
