SEALING SKIRT OF FEEDING HOPPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing skirt of a feeding hopper in which less wear is generated in a belt conveyor, no stripe-like damages are made on its surface, and adjustment of the fitting height of a sealing skirt itself is dispensed with. SOLUTION: A rubber sealing skirt 20 to be fixed to right and left side plates 12a at a lower end discharge port of a feeding hopper 12 to feed the granular objects, etc., on a belt conveyor 10 comprises a rectangular flat base part 21 to be fixed to the side plate 12a and a seal part 23 provided on a lower edge of the base part 21 through a bendable intermediate part 22, an antifriction plate 24 formed on a rugged surface of arc-shaped section made of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene on one side of the seal part 23, and the antifriction plate 24 of the seal part 23 is brought into contact with an upper surface of the belt conveyor 10 by bending the intermediate part 22.
