Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new compound having antibacterial action against tubercule bacillus and atypical mycobacteria. SOLUTION: This compound is expressed by formula I [R is a lower alkyl, a lower alkoxy, a halogen, a di(lower alkyl)amino, a di(lower alkyl)carbamoyl, a lower alkoxycarbonyl, a lower hydroxyalkyl or pyrrolyl, morpholino, etc., which may have a lower alkyl, etc.; R and R are each H, a halogen, a lower alkyl or a lower alkoxy; R is H or a lower alkyl; (n) is 1 or 2] or its salt, e.g. 3-(4-chloroanilino)-10-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-cyclooctylimino-7-methyl-2,10- dihydrophenazine. The compound of the formula I can be produced by reacting a 2,10-dihydrophenazine derivative of formula II with a cyclooctylamine derivative of formula III. The compound is effective for the treatment of tuberculosis and infectious diseases of lung, lymph gland, soft tissue, joint, peritenon, bone, etc., and has high absorbability, long duration of the drug efficacy and low side actions. |
