Thereafter, the compression plate 4 is lowered so as to hold a tube 8 lightly and then a connecting rod 14 is slightly pushed up and the tip of a push-press pin 10 is inserted in the recessed part 16 of the lower end of the connecting rod 14. Under this state, when an electromagnetic solenoid 12 is exerted, the compression plate 4 press-contacts and crushes the tube 8 through the connecting rod 14 and the push-press pin 10. When the ironing roller is rotated by a motor 3, the tube is ironed and the transfer of a medium is started.
