description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which the liquid crystal injecting time affecting mass-production can be shortened, there is no existence of bubbles and the irregular thickness of a liquid crystal layer affecting quality of a picture, and no change of the liquid crystal compositions affecting the optical characteristics. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method, two oriented glass substrates are superimposed via a spacer and a sealing compound, and a liquid crystal cell 4 provided with at least one liquid crystal injecting port and a liquid crystal pan 1 containing a liquid crystal are put into a vacuum vessel 6. After the injecting port in the liquid crystal cell 4 is immersed into the liquid crystal in the liquid crystal pan 1 while keeping the vacuum vessel 6 evacuated, the internal pressure of the vacuum vessel 6 is returned to the atmospheric pressure and the liquid crystal is injected into the liquid crystal cell 4, an ultrasonic vibrator transducer is fitted to the liquid crystal pan 1 and the liquid crystal is irradiated with an ultrasonic wave from the ultrasonic vibrator transducer. |
