SOLUTION: When the user inserts an ID card into a card reader, this copying machine is switched to a copying mode from a printing mode (step S504). Then, in the case that the device is in the middle of executing the printing of image data received from outside, printing stop processing so as to stop the execution of the printing is performed until the ID card is ejected. When an ID read from the ID card coincides with the ID previously registered, the execution of the copying mode by the ID is permitted, and the number of the copying times is counted in relation to the ID (step 5505 and S506).
