description | PURPOSE: To enable reception from the station of any prescribed category with best sensitivity by automatically storing the station having high reception intensity in a memory corresponding to a prescribed PI code when the position of reception is changed by the move of a car. CONSTITUTION: A receiver mounted on the traveling car receives a radio wave from a broadcasting station and that signal is passed through a front end 2, converted to an intermediate frequency by an IF/DET 4, detected later, passed through a muting circuit 6 and outputted from a speaker 8. Tuning at the receiver is performed by controlling a PLL 3 while using a microcomputer 11 and by providing the desired reception frequency of the front end 2. When searching the receiving station, the muting circuit 6 for blocking noise generation is operated. Broadcasting from the broadcasting station to be received is detected by a received signal intensity detection circuit 9, program contents are discriminated, and the broadcasting station to be received is decided and stored in a memory 13. Signal intensity is compared and the microcomputer 11 performs control for receiving the more satisfactory frequency. |
