Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled harvester for blanch-cultured Welsh onion capable of continuously performing a series of harvesting works from the digging to the rooting and the transportation of a blanch-cultured Welsh onion to remarkably improve the work efficiency and reduce the labor of the harvesting work of blanch-cultured Welsh onion. SOLUTION: This harvester is provided with a plowshare 6 for digging a blanch-cultured Welsh onion together with the ridge soil according to the motion of a self-propelled machine body, a guide member 7 placed close to the Welsh onion exposed on the ridge above the plowshare 6 and prevent the falling down of the blanch-cultured Welsh onion in lateral direction, a bar conveyor apparatus 8 to shake off the soil attached to the root of the Welsh onion in the course of transferring the Welsh onion on the plowshare 6 together with the soil slantly upward to the back, a pair of belt conveyors 10 arranged in V-shape, clamping the root part of the blanch-cultured Welsh onion transferred from the bar conveyor 8 together with the soil from the right and the left directing the root downward and transferring the Welsh onion slantly upward to the back, a pair of root-cutting chain apparatuses 11 placed immediately below the belt conveyor 10 to mainly cut the soil-adhering entangled roots of the blanch-cultured Welsh onion and a root cutter 12 placed at the back of the chain apparatus and cutting the base part of the Welsh onion together with the remaining roots. |
