Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vaporizing type petroleum combustor having a vaporizer which makes it possible to always obtain excellent vaporized gas by sufficient vaporizing capacity with a light weight and compact structure. SOLUTION: The inner surface of a box-shaped vaporizer 1 having a heater 2 for heating and a mixed gas outlet 7 at the bottom is formed in a vertical vaporizing surface 8 perpendicular to a fuel jet nozzle. A zigzag passage 11 of downflow fuel oil is formed at a plurality of beads 10 at the flat surface 9 for spraying the oil at the center at the surface 8. Accordingly, the drop of the oil is suppressed as much as possible to expedite the vaporization with the light weight and compact vaporizer to make it possible to obtain uniform and excellent vaporized gas.
