SPEECH RECORDING METHOD FOR DIGITAL AUTOMOBILE TELEPHONE SET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a memory capacity used for speech recording from being increased by extracting voice data subject to compression coding by the VSELP system from a digital signal processor and storing it. SOLUTION: A digital signal processor DSP 4 applies compression coding to voice coding data outputted from a codec 5 by the VSELP system, and convolution coding or the like to generate transmission voice data and they are subject to prescribed format processing and the result is outputted to a TX section 3. As to reception data from an RX section 2, respective data are extracted from a prescribed format and various data are given to a CPU 8, voice data by the VSELP system are decoded and the result is given to the codec 5. When a recording button is depressed during a speech, the VSELP processed voice data of other station (its own station) deleting an error correction code CRC are stored in a memory 9 under the control of the CPU 8, then the memory capacity required for recording is considerably reduced.
