description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic part mounter which is capable of quickly detecting that a vacuum-sucking nozzle hangs down excessively by a method wherein a nozzle level detecting means is provided between a mounting station and a nozzle adjustment station. SOLUTION: The tip of a vacuum-chucking nozzle which is intermittently fed is made to pass close to the upper end of a chip discharge plate 71, arm electronic part A not to mount is made to hit the chip discharge plate 71 and dropped into a box 73 located below. The lower end of the tip of the chip discharge plate 71 is bent horizontal, and a bent part 74 is made to confront the proximity sensor 75 of a detector 72. The detector 72 is composed of the proximity sensor 75 and a holder 76 which holds the proximity sensor 75 and mounted on a chassis with the holder 76. In this case, the chip discharge plate 71 is displaced to make the bent part 74 deviate from the proximity sensor 75, whereby it is detected through the intermediary of the chip discharge plate 71 that the vacuum-chucking nozzle 14 is wrongly mounted. |
