The change rate of the transmission gear rate is reduced relatively at the time of shift-down, the transmission gear ratio is switched to an increasing side by shift-down operation slightly, and the condition of an engine brake is regulated delicately. On the other hand, the change rate of the transmission gear ratio is increased relatively at the time of shift-up, and the reducing change of the transmission gear ratio accompanying shift operation is made to feel to a driver. |
