Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a positive scraping of ice to be carried out by a method wherein an upstream side of a rotary shaft has a narrow pitch and a small diameter and further a down-stream side of the rotary shaft has a wide pitch and a large diameter and there is provided a helical form in which its pitch and its diameter are varied continuously or in a stepwise manner. SOLUTION: Both a pitch and a diameter of a screw are varied in several steps or in a stepwise manner in a section ranging from an upstream side 2 to an downstream side 3 of a rotary shaft 16 of a conveyor. In this structure, as some crushed ices are transported in a vertical direction and from the upstream side 2 to the downstream side 3 of the conveyor, small-sized crushed ices are changed into large-sized blocks or the crushed ices are entangled to each other under application of high pressure, resulting in that the ices are hardly dropped into a pitch between the screws. However, as the pitch of the helical section 4 is widended in a stepwise manner or in a continuous manner, the ice can be scraped off at any locations in the conveyor. In addition, since a diameter of the helical section 4 is varied to be enlarged, the ice can be positively scraped off and then the ice can be transported without any interruption.
