Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems in the production of an excellent aqueous emulsion of a chlorinated polyolefin that a large amount of an organic solvent which is dangerous in view of the environment and handling is necessitated for reducing the viscosity of the solution and that the resin concn. is low economically disadvantageously. SOLUTION: An aqueous surfactant solution is added to a high-viscosity solution prepared by dissolving 100 pts.wt. chlorinated polyolefin and 10 to 100 pts.wt. plasticizer in 10 to 30 pts.wt. organic solvent to regulate the viscosity to 3,000mPa.s or below to thereby increase the fluidity, and then the obtained mixture is emulsified by adding it to an aqueous dispersion of an anti-settling agent to obtain an O/W emulsion having a solid content of at least 45% and a solvent content of 10% or below. |
