description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a patterned colored transparent electrode in a simple process by forming a colored transparent conductive film having a pattern coincident with a photo-mask pattern and excellent in transparency and conductivity on a board. SOLUTION: A glass board 1 serving as the front face of a display device is coated with a composition containing a metal compound converted into an oxide by heating, e.g. indium, tin, or zinc, heat-resistant inorganic pigments of about 450-600 deg.C of red, green, and blue, a liquid medium, and a binder. It is then dried, exposed through a mask, and developed to form display anodes 2a (R), 2b (G), 2c (B). A shading layer 3 is formed as required. The whole is finally heated, and organic matters such as the binder resin, photosensitive resin, photo-functional group left in the film are decomposed and vaporized to apply colored transparency and conductivity to the patterned film. R, G, B films become colored transparent conductive films, and R, G, B regions serve as color filter/display anodes. |
